About Croquet
Croquet is a captivating game that combines skill, strategy, and a touch of finesse, reminiscent of snooker played on a grassy field. It can be played as a singles or doubles game.
Participants must navigate their balls through a series of hoops and (generally) win seven hoops before their opponents. Its basic rules involve manoeuvring your balls around the course using a mallet, hitting the ball short and long distances, with the fun of striking your opponent’s balls if necessary. The game’s intrigue lies in the angles, tactics, and guile employed by players to outwit their opponents.
Croquet is a sport that transcends age and gender, offering equal opportunities for men and women, young and old, to engage in friendly competition. Beyond its competitive aspect, croquet fosters friendships, camaraderie, and a sense of enjoyment, making it a cherished pastime for many enthusiasts around the world.
