Who will be Number 1?
Forrest Park will hold its club championship over the weekend of 27/28 July 2024. The winner of this coveted comp goes into the Champion of Champions comp on 3/4 August, competing against other club champions from around WA. With several Forrest Park members who are in the State team and/or A graders, this will be closely contested.
Fun at the club
World Croquet Day 2024, in early May, was celebrated by club members wearing ‘Outrageous Dress’ – and how creative (and colourful) everyone turned out to be! The courts were alive with colour, laughter and everyone had loads of fun! A BBQ lunch followed.
2023 STATE C GRADE DOUBLES – FORREST PARK PLAYERS TAKE 2ND, 3RD AND 4TH PLACES
Forrest Park is absolutely delighted to see its newest members, Linda and Richard Lobb, runners-up in the State C Grade Doubles Championships at Halls Head in July 2023, winning 8 out of their 11 games.
2023 B GRADE PENNANTS WINNERS – FORREST PARK
Forrest Park won the B Grade Pennants competition in November, winning five out of their six matches.
GOLF CROQUET STATE OPEN DOUBLES
The State Open Doubles championship was held on the weekend of 6-7 April 2024. Seventeen teams from around WA competed – not only players from several Perth clubs but also Hyden, Busselton, Bunbury, Waroona, Dunsborough, York, Pinjarra and Mandurah. What a turn-out!

Gosnells One Day Singles Tournament
The Gosnells One day Singles tournament is so successful it now runs for two days at two venues! But I hope they never change the name!
Summer Nights Competition
The Summer Nights comp came to an end on Tuesday with all 12 teams playing at Forrest Park. The courts were fairly buzzing with activity and supper was the best yet!
